2017

The inaugural Creekness Stakes race was won by Tryon Farms Institute.

The Spirit Award was claimed by the Vikings from Shoreline Brewery.

Thanks to all who helped get this fun, worthwhile event off to a great start.

Trail Creek Week is a five day, place-based education event hosted by the Trail Creek Watershed Partnership. By participating in the Creekness Stakes, a fun and challenging Voyageur Canoe Race, you will be establishing secure funding to keep Trail Creek Week, a high quality environmental experience available for approximately 1000 Michigan City Area Schools students each year!

2018

The winning team for 2018 was a collaboration between Haas & Global Engineering firms, with assistance from the Alliance for the Great Lakes.

The Spirit Award went to the team from the Michigan City Zoo/Parks & Recreation.
